Alexa+ reaches general availability in the United States
Amazon made Alexa+ broadly available in the United States, with unlimited household access for Prime members and a free chat experience for nonmembers.

Amazon has moved Alexa+ out of early access and made the assistant available to everyone in the United States. Prime members receive unlimited use across compatible Alexa devices, Alexa.com and the Alexa app as part of their membership. Nonmembers can use a free chat experience on the web and in the app, giving the service a broader entry point beyond Echo hardware.
Alexa+ is built for longer, more natural conversations and can coordinate smart-home devices, calendars, recipes, reminders, shopping and media. Amazon says tens of millions of customers already use the assistant. New interfaces include Echo Show widgets that combine voice and touch, while personalization can surface notifications and suggestions based on previous interactions.
General availability brings Alexa+ to more Prime households. Amazon can connect the assistant to commerce, entertainment and home devices at a scale few competitors match. That integration also makes accuracy and user control especially important when Alexa+ monitors prices, coordinates purchases or handles shared calendars.
